We were delighted to see so many of you at our newly launched Acorn Adventurers session last term, which has proved a huge success. It has been so lovely to see lots of familiar faces and lots of new ones, too.
If you are a keen to join please email email@example.com for a registration form to book your place. For those families already registered with Acorn Adventurers, please also email to book your place.
The sessions will run on the following format:
Parents and carers with toddlers from aged one to three years old.
From November to March, we will be based in the welcoming London Acorn School, settling into our own warm and cosy classroom for the colder months. We will still begin with a nature walk in the Rose Garden, and if the weather is sufficiently mild to be out in the woodland area, we will notify participants the day before.
Wednesdays 1.15 – 3.00pm
What do you need to bring:
We venture out in all weathers so please come prepared for this with full waterproofs, and a sense of adventure!
What kind of adventures will you and your little ones have:
All families will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in the woods as together we make simple crafts from natural materials guided by an experienced Forest School Leader. Children will enjoy seasonal songs, finding Robin and friends, and free play such as digging and den building.
We will also be having picnics with warm fruit teas, organic snacks and a goodbye song.
Our sessions are a great opportunity for our community to:
· Connect with nature
· Meet other families
· Relax in the wonderful National Trust Morden Hall Park
· Enjoy snacks and warm drinks in the Park or at The London Acorn School
Session costs are £15 per session and booked half termly in advance (sibling discount available).
We look forward to welcoming you for some fun and adventure in the Park.
