Community

Teachers and parents work together to provide an environment which allows children to grow up naturally, and enjoy a playful and creative childhood. This space also allows children to receive an outstanding academic education.

In order to provide a supportive space for the whole school community, there is an active partnership between parents and teachers.

There are many ways to keep connected:

You can read our weekly digital newsletter, In a Nutshell , or you could join one of the Headteacher’s ‘Walk and Talk’. What’s more, the school has regular Festivals and Events, in which parents can be involved as participants and also behind the scenes helping with the preparations. These events will all be advertised In a Nutshell.
TLAS has a very supportive and generous community, and many parents volunteer their time with us. This can be in the areas of governance, marketing, photography, running an after school club, to name just a few examples. This list is not exhaustive, and we are always happy to hear of innovative ways to include our community. We like our parents to feel a part of their child’s journey.
